  Part of a select group of interns who plan and organize campus events pertaining to ethics, in a variety of fields. We regularly host guest speakers and faculty, and act as ambassadors to campus charged with raising awareness and engagement with the institute. I have been an intern for over two years and have benefitted greatly from conversing with the staff and fellow interns, and learning about their ethical interests and passions.

  Worked closely with lead anchor, Rob Johnson, on feature stories. Assisted reporters on assignments, and went out on field edits. Was an integral part of the news desk, researching stories and gathering information for breaking news. Went out with photographers and conducted interviews for VOSOTs/SOTs and also did MOS interviews for the 11am, 5, 6, and 10pm shows.

  I was the head Sports Director for the 2012 Fall Semester, at DePauw's television station, D3TV. I managed the staffing and broadcasting of all of our live sports games, as well as produced and anchored Tiger Sports Nation (a weekly show on national sports and DePauw athletics, filmed live, in studio).

Assisted Directors in planning regular global communication calls with key communicators, and participated in the calls. I also worked on a global employee engagement project. Fostered and improved relationships between global communication departments. Wrote daily online content and produced a variety of videos for the company's employee website.

• Production/Assistant Sports Director at WGRE

  Director of the sports department at the number two college radio station in the country. Worked with staff to broadcast live games, both at the college and local high school level and air hourly sportscasts. Also, I personally hosted weekly sports' shows, broadcasted play-by-play and color commentary, and produced games and events for the station.

• News Intern at WTHR-TV

  January 2012 - February 2012 | Indianapolis, IN

  Interned for Channel 13 during the month of January. Worked from 9-6 every weekday during the month leading up to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. I conducted interviews for stories and broadcasts, wrote articles for the website, shadowed and assisted reporters, gathered information for stories and helped in editing and putting together packages.
